my thoughts

It's the last day of the May and there were many things happened.

Philippine election
the good
I think the Filipinos are getting wiser. The canvassing of votes is not yet finished but the top twelve senators as I may say are qualified for the position. Unlike before, celebrities usually won but now, Cesar Montano and Richard Gomez who are known actors didn't even enter the top 15. The qualifications are very important for the people who formulate laws in a country, not only popularity. It's a good news!

the bad
Vote counting is not yet done and cheating is very obvios. When will the election system in our country improve? I read a news about 4 teachers in Mindanao who can prove the poll cheating in their area. But they are afraid to speak in public because of the death threats. They are teachers who counted and watched our vote. Noble teachers who are working despite of low income just to help educating our future leaders. But here they are now, worried about their families their securities.

In my elementary grades, when I first heard the Darwinian Theory on evolution, the first doubt that came into my mind was that, if humans came from apes, why are there people with faces that look like horses and dogs?

I am not a scientist and have never finished any degree in any branch of Science, but.... continue reading from his site www.esoriano.wordpress.com

A new job!

Thanks be to God for a new job that He gave me. I was accepted as an English teacher on Korean School here in Ho Chi Minh City. I'm the first Filipino teacher who was given the chance to teach here. To God be the Glory!
